The money goes to: Develop educational programs on violence and rape in secondary schools in Norway.

"I have personally experienced the consequences of such events and how devastating they can be. Depression, anxiety and PTSD became my everyday life for several years. And I want to prevent this from happening to others."-Charlen Larsen

Support us in the important fight against violence and rape in Norway!

  • 1 in 3 women in Norway are victims of violence.
  • 1 in 5 women are raped in their lifetime.
  • 50% of these before the age of 18, according to a public report from February this year.
  • 50% of all men will experience serious violence after the age of 18.

According to statistics, both you and I have 2-3 people among family and friends who have been or will be raped. The consequences of violence and rape are self-harm, depression, anxiety, intoxication, suicidal thoughts and in the worst case suicide. We can't have that!

THE VISION OF THE FOUNDATIONThe Never Walk Alone Foundation was founded with a vision to prevent violence and rape to create a safer society for all.The foundation is an initiative started by Charlen Larsen, a dedicated entrepreneur who has personally experienced the devastating consequences of rape.Charlen Larsen is known from VG, TV2 God Morgen Norge, Finansavisen and other national and international media through her story.

The story of Charlen Larsen is an inspiring journey that has led to a powerful commitment to preventing violence and rape. After experiencing a traumatic event in her own life, Charlen Larsen decided to turn her pain into strength and initiate positive change. The foundation's vision is to create a safer and more just society by preventing such abuse. Our work is based on a strong mission to increase knowledge and awareness of violence and rape, and to conduct awareness-raising work that can lay the foundation for social change. Some of our supporters include Trine Lise Olsen, Marco Elsafadi and John Christian Elden.- Information and knowledge can help to promote positive attitudes and values that promote safety and respect.

Our focus area with the fundraising:We focus on preventive measures in secondary schools in Norway and will develop training programs, lectures and digital content for use in teaching and towards parents. We want to increase knowledge among young people and parents about violence and rape and its consequences," says Charlen Larsen.

Our project on training in secondary schools to prevent violence and rape provides a comprehensive overview of the topics that can be covered. The training program emphasizes adapting the content to the target audience, including interactivity and encouraging participant engagement. Each module contains a range of resources and activities to give participants a thorough understanding of the topic. Topics include definitions and forms of violence and rape, consent, signs of violence and rape, risk and protective factors, prevention strategies, responsibility and action, cultural change, psychological aspects, technology and digital safety, legal aspects, school interventions, and evaluation and follow-up. This training program aims to provide students with knowledge, skills and awareness on key issues related to violence and rape.

We have initiated a Spleis to develop this together with, among others, Trine Lise Olsen, who for a number of critically acclaimed years has inspired in Norwegian theater and on Norwegian TV, and now inspires in a new, honest lecture about her own upbringing - and turning around a bad start in life.

  • Tough, honest and direct message, conveyed with humor.
  • Critically acclaimed communicator with extensive stage experience

We will work with, educate and collaborate with secondary schools, students and parents to create a society where violence and rape are not accepted. We hope you will join us and support us!
